December 2019 saw Mad Dog Mcrea released a 5-track EP titled ‘It’s a Sign’. The famous purple happy bus is fired up and ready for action, and there’s room for you – jump aboard! SKIMMINGTON RIDE Skimmington Ride are a five-piece from Letchworth blasting out Irish, Scottish and rootsy folk tunes with a proper punk attitude — built for dancing, drinking and shouting along. Armed with acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin, accordion, double bass and their trusty monkey stick, they deliver a raucous, feelgood set that turns any room into a session. They’ve racked up close to 200 gigs, including five consecutive St Patrick’s Nights at Camden’s Dublin Castle (through 2025), plus festival appearances at Camp Bestival, Blyth Power Ashes, Todd in the Hole and more across the country. Audiences call them “the liveliest of live music” and “cheerful mayhem”... which is exactly what they bring! DOORS 7.30pm ENTRY £21 advance (plus online booking fee)/more on the door.
